While schools are all about teaching and learning, it is also true that schools are in the people business. Our safe and supportive school environment is maintained through safe and supportive interactions between each other.
At Gowrie State School we expect a high standard of effort, individual achievement and respect. We work together with the P&C to achieve well considered and collaborative policies.
Codes of Conduct:
The Gowrie State School Student Code of Conduct is the over arching document for managing student behaviour in the school. It is included as a hard copy within all our enrolment packs. The Student Code of Conduct is complemented by our Positive Behaviour for Learning Approach to teaching and reinforcing desired behaviours, and the Gowrie 5R's for student wellbeing.
The Parent Code of Conduct is the standard code of conduct for all Queensland State Schools.
